This weekend was the rush for this semester’s new comers. Great food, great company, and beautiful weather!

Phi Chi and AUC Honors Society jointly hosted this past semester’s Wine and Cheese event and Dr. Atchley’s house. Students, Professors, Staff, friends, and family dressed in their finest for the party, and the night turned out to be a resounding success.

I was having a hard time finding somewhere to renew my CPR certification and become PALS and ACLS certified in Chicago. I was happy to find CPR Associates, which was not only one of the cheaper places, but they also had a number of classes held during the week. This training center is approved by the American Heart Association. It is located at 2616 W. Peterson Ave., Chicago, 60659. The pricing for the CPR class was $30 for people with non-expired cards and $35 for 1st time certification or expired cards. The courses for ACLS and PALS cost $189 each for first time certification, which includes lunch (very important). I just thought for those of you in the Chicagoland area this may be helpful.
